<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with abnormal supply of a cooling medium to a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system is equipped with: a a cooling water line 5 and a cooling water pump 8 to supply cooling water to the fuel cell (stack) 1; a heat recovery line 7 to transfer heat to the cooling water; a heat exchanger 6 and a heat recovery pump 12; a first temperature sensor 9 to detect the entrance temperature T1 of the cooling water before it is supplied to the stack 1; a second temperature sensor 10 to detect the exit temperature T2 of the cooling water after it is supplied to the stack 1; and a controller 20 to control the cooling water to a target temperature by controlling each pump 8, 9 based on water temperature T1, T2 detected by each sensor 9, 10, when the stack 1 is operated. When the stack 1 is started, if the temperature difference between the exit water temperature T2 and the entrance water temperature T1 exceeds a reference temperature, before warming up finishing time of the stack 1 has elapsed, the controller 20 determines that supply of the cooling water is abnormal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
