PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from being deposited on an inclined wall face of a diameter expansion part in a cooling chamber, as the first priority of problem, in an incinerator with a cooling chamber communicated vertically with a combustion chamber in a reduced part. SOLUTION: The inclined wall face 12a of the diameter expansion part 12 is covered with a whirling air flow by a reduced volume of injection air, by providing an air injection nozzle 13 for forming the horizontal whirling air flow along the inclined wall face 12a in the diameter expansion part of the cooling chamber 4 adjacent to an upper side of the reduced part 5.
