PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensionally disposed state measuring method for accurately measuring the relative positions and relative posture of two objects. SOLUTION: According to this three-dimensionally disposed state measuring method for measuring the relative positions and relative postures of the two objects 10 and 20, a magnetic field transmitter 11 and a transmitter-side angle detector 12 are juxtaposed on one object 10, the transmitter 11 capable of transmitting a magnetic field in three-axial directions crossing each other and the detector 12 capable of measuring the inclination angle of a specific transmission coordinate axis. A magnetic field receiver 21 and a receiver-side angle detector 22 are juxtaposed on the other object 20, the receiver 21 capable of receiving a magnetic field in three-axial directions crossing each other and the detector 22 capable of measuring the inclination angle of a specific reception coordinate axis. The relative positions and relative postures of the two objects 10 and 20 are measured based on a reception signal obtained when receiving, by the receiver 21, a transmission magnetic field transmitted from the transmitter 11 when characteristic factors of specific transmission and reception coordinate axes as to the inclination angles are each in a reference state.
