摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spark-ignition direct-injection engine which achieves both uniform combustion and stratified combustion of excellent characteristics. SOLUTION: The spark-ignition direct-injection engine is equipped with a combustion chamber 10, an ignition plug 32, an intake valve 20, an exhaust valve 22, an injector 36 and a fuel injection control means for controlling fuel injection. The injector is equipped with an upward nozzle port oriented to an electrode part and a plurality of downward nozzle ports oriented to a piston. The upward nozzle port is equipped with a pair of nozzle ports in which respective shaft centers are oriented to the right and left regions of the electrode part. An angle formed by shaft centers of a pair of nozzle ports is set bigger than the sum of halves of injection angles in fuel injection from each of a pair of nozzle ports in a compression process.
