PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overprint varnish excellent in wear resistance, and in particular to provide an overprint varnish suitable for flexible packaging materials such as a polyethylene film, a polypropylene film and a PET film. SOLUTION: The overprint varnish comprises a film-forming resin and a fine resin particle substantially insoluble in a solvent that dissolves the film-forming resin, wherein the fine resin particle is a core-shell type particle consisting of a core part of an acrylic resin and a shell part of an amino resin.
