PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of providing 4,4'-dihydroxydicyclohexyl ether at high purity in a high yield and with ease. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing 4,4'-dihydroxydicyclohexyl ether comprises reacting 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenyl ether with hydrogen in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst containing palladium and/or platinum in a solvent.
