<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver which processes a plurality of RSSIs to output one RSSI. <P>SOLUTION: A radio unit 12 frequency-converts analog signals of a radio frequency received by an antenna 14 into analog signals in a base band, and detects the strength of the base band analog signal to output the strength as an RSSI 302. A generator 28 generates one quasi-RSSI 316 from a plurality of RSSIs 302. An AD unit 22 executes the analog-digital conversion of the received analog signal 310 to output a received digital signal 300. A multiplier 62 weights the received digital signal 300 with a received weight vector signal 312. An adder 64 adds the output of the multiplier 62 to output a composite digital signal 304. A multiplier 30 performs the AGC of the composite digital signal 304.
