PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel having high image quality and emission efficiency while reducing the rate of address errors while a panel is driven, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: Phosphor layers 25R, 25G, 25B are each covered on their surface with a phosphor coating 26 so that they are isolated from a discharge space 30. The phosphor coating 26 formed on the surface of the side of each phosphor layer 25 facing the discharge space 30 has a double structure comprising a layer 261 of MeF2and a layer 262 of mixed phases of MeF2and MeO.
