PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor vibration suppression device capable of stably reducing solid propagation noise or floor vibration over a wide frequency range from several Hz to several hundreds of Hz that becomes a problem of production, investigation or living performance because of floor multi-degree-of-freedom vibration. SOLUTION: There are provided a sensor for detecting vibration of a damping target floor, a controller for controlling an actuator by determining an actuator manipulated variable for reducing vibration and solid propagation noise from a detection signal of the sensor and a dynamic characteristic model of the damping target, and the actuator which is controlled in driving by the controller and generates vibrating power. The controller is designed by representing a model error internally existing in the dynamic characteristic model of the damping target floor using a normalized left irreducible resolution, using a frequency weight function taking into account control performance and robust stability, and solving an H infinite sub-optimal control problem withoutγ-repetition.
