<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain signal components of each musical interval of an audio signal with a small amount of operation. <P>SOLUTION: A re-sampling part 21 re-samples an audio signal to be inputted with sampling frequency of power of 2 of frequency on the boundary of octave. An octave division block 22 divides the audio signal to be outputted from the re-sampling part 21 into each of octaves 1 to 8 and outputs the divided audio signal to BPFBs 23<SB>1</SB>to 23<SB>8</SB>. Each of the BPFBs 23<SB>1</SB>to 23<SB>8</SB>has 12 BPFs, extracts and outputs an audio signal with 12 musical intervals from an audio signal of one octave.
