PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of adjusting an image photographed by a user so as to become optimum image quality at the stage of image data. SOLUTION: A camera module 101 is connected with a CPU 110 and a memory 111 via a device internal bus 109, and further, with an LCD 112 of a display means. The digital image signal photographed with the camera module 101 and subjected to AD conversion is subjected to prescribed image processing with a DSP 105. After that, the digital image signal is taken into the memory 111 via the internal bus 109 and automatically subjected to image analysis (comparison with reference values of resolution, white balance adjustment, and gradation or the like) with the CPU 110. As a result, items required for the image quality adjustment are displayed in a menu on the LCD 112 and reflected in the resistor setting value change and the camera initializing setting with the DSP 105 by the instruction of the image quality setting change by the user.
