PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating photographic waste water capable of reducing all of BOD (biological oxygen demand), COD (chemical oxygen demand) and total nitrogen quantity of photographic waste water to the levels of quality standards of discharge water based on Sewage Water Law. SOLUTION: In the method for treating photographic waste water, the photographic waste water is subjected to electrolytic oxidation treatment using a conductive diamond electrode as an anode and, thereafter, is subjected to total nitrogen quantity reduction treatment by means of microorganisms.
