METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PLATED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plated product which is excellent in dynamical properties and adhesion of plating films by providing a method for manufacturing the plated product capable of directly electroplating a shaped article of a resin composition without applying a conducting treatment thereto. SOLUTION: The plated product is manufactured by applying the electroplating to the shaped article made of the resin composition containing 5 to 35 parts by weight of carbon black (B) and 2 to 30 parts by weight of a plasticizer (C) in 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin (A) without previously subjecting the shaped article to the conducting treatment. At this time, the plated product having the particularly excellent adhesion of the plating film is manufactured by further compounding acid soluble particles (D) with the resin composition and immersing the shaped article into an aqueous acidic solution prior to the implementation of the electroplating.
