<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which the replacement and the maintenance of a component and an element at a spot related to forming an abnormal image are facilitated by reading a recorded image and easily specifying the component and the element at the periodical abnormality spot related to forming the abnormal image. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is constituted of an image forming part 1 forming a recorded image on a medium to be recorded (P) using recording data, a recorded image reading means 2 for reading the recorded image formed on the medium (P) by the image forming part 1, and a spot-state abnormal data periodicity presence discrimination means 3 discriminating the presence of the periodicity of the abnormal data in a spot state detected by comparing read data read by the image reading means 2 with the recorded data formed on the medium (P) by the image forming part 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
