PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Web service to a client device without changing a Web application operating on a Web server. SOLUTION: This Web service intermediation device has: a communication procedure storage part associating a request message in the Web service and a communication procedure with the Web server for storage; a request message reception part receiving the request message transmitted from the client device; a communication procedure acquisition part acquiring the communication procedure corresponding to the request message received by the request message reception part from the communication procedure storage part; a Web server communication part performing the transmission/reception of data to the Web server on the basis of the request message and the communication procedure; a response message generation part generating a response message in the Web service on the basis of data received from the Web server by the Web server communication part; and a response message transmission part transmitting the response message to the client device.
