The tilt driving means has an input shaft 5 to which rotating force is input, a rotating shaft 6 to be rotated together with the input shaft 5, having a head protruded from the upper end of a rotating upright shaft 1, a speed reducer 8 joined to the upright shaft 1 for reducing the speed of the rotation of the input shaft 5 to be output to an output shaft 7 protruded from the lower end of the upright shaft 1, a transmitting means 9 for transmitting the output of the output shaft 7 of the speed reducer 8 to the fork 3 to be tilted, a feed screw formed on the head of the rotating shaft 6, a detected object nut 13 threaded to the feed screw and adapted to be displaced in the vertical direction with the rotation of the rotating shaft 6, and detecting means 14, 15 for detecting the height of the detected object nut 13.
