<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to insert one image at a desired optional page position and output it when a printing job and a scanning job are combined by making an insertion by a unit of page. <P>SOLUTION: On the image inputting terminal side, when an instruction for an insertion-combining process is received (S120-YES), a printer job for which a blank page is inserted at an insertion position desired by the user is prepared, and is transmitted to an image outputting terminal 7 (S122). On the image outputting terminal side, when a printer job having the instruction for the insertion-combining process is received, the printer job is spooled for one time, and is made to stand by until an output instruction from the user is received (S212-YES, and S216). When the printer job of an output object is designated after the checking by the user on the image outputting terminal side (S220 to S238), reading is instructed to a scanner first (S239), and an image for insertion is acquired (S310 to 316).
