PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanket mounting device in which the opening width of a groove for inserting the leading end and the tail end of the blanket is minimized. SOLUTION: The device has tension bars 11 having engagement parts 112 which are engaged with tip members 131 fitted to the opposite ends of the blanket 13, the groove 10 which is provided in a blanket cylinder 9 and into which the tension bars 11 are inserted, tightening means 17 which are fitted to the tension bars 11 on the side nearer to the center of the blanket cylinder 13 than engagement portions 112a where the engagement parts 112 of the tension bars 11 are engaged with the tip members 131, tightening parts 121 which are provided at the bottom of the groove 10 and engaged with the tightening means 17 to tighten the tension bars 11, and contact parts which are provided on the inner wall surfaces 101 of the groove 10 and contact with the tension bars 11 to fix the tension bars 11 in the groove 10 when the tension bars 11 are tightened inside the groove 10 by the tightening means 17.
