PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio equipment capable of speedily stabilizing an output level of an amplifier when the outside of an output terminal is recovered from a fault status to a normal status, and easily protecting the amplifier even if an output signal of the amplifier is dynamically varied. SOLUTION: An output signal level measuring section (30) measures a level of an output signal of an amplifier (20), a circulator (40) passes said output signal towards an output terminal (50) and outputs a reflection signal in the inverse direction of the output signal, and a control section (60) controls an input signal control section (10) so as to reduce an amplitude of an input signal to the amplifier (20) based on a result of comparing the level measured by the output signal level measuring section (30) with a measured level of the reflection signal extracted by the circulator (40).
