The method involves realizing edge parts (5, 8) adjacent to a main part defining a display surface (2), by cutting a sheet metal, and folding the edge parts. A tab (10) is formed adjacent to the main part, along a rounded edge (3) of the main part, using the edge parts. The tab engages the rounded edge of the main part. The edge part (5) and the tab are assembled and integrated by soldering. An independent claim is also included for a traffic sign.
