A revolver for purposes of training has a barrel, this is rigidly connected to the frame, a reel, this is installed at the axle with ability of turn relative to its axis; a breech end, a hammer, a slide, a fighting spring, a ratchet, this is connected to the trigger hook; a trigger cramp, this is rigidly fixed on the frame; a ramrod pipe with ramrod. In the reel cells chambers for cartridges are arranged, and at the lower surface of the barrel through openings are provided. At the side surface of the barrel a cut is provided, or cuts, with depth not less than half of the diameter of the barrel and with length not less than 1/10 of the caliber of the barrel of the arms, and the reel is arranged cut by value not less than 1/5 of its diameter; at that the beginning of the cut provided at the barrel is arranged at distance from the rear part of the front sight not more than 1/10 of the caliber of the arms; the side surfaces of the cut can be placed either at right angle to the axis of the barrel or at angle exceeding 90 DEGREE , or those can be rounded; the plane of cut of the barrel can be placed in parallel to the axis of the channel of the barrel or at angle to it, and the cut of the reel can be arranged in plane normal to the end surface of the reel or at angle to that end surface of the reel as well. The utility model provides increase of protection against possibility of use of live cartridges.
