PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a display fault due to noise on image signal lines in an electrooptical device such as a liquid crystal device. SOLUTION: The electrooptical device is equipped with; a plurality of image signal lines to which image signals are supplied; a sampling circuit which samples the image signals on the image signal lines according to a sampling circuit driving signal and supplies the image signals to a plurality of data lines; a shift register for sequentially outputting a transfer signal from each stage based on a clock signal of a predetermined frequency; a pulse control circuit for at least delaying or distorting an enable signal of a predetermined pulse width and for outputting the signal; and an enable circuit for supplying a logical product of the transfer signal and the enable signal outputted from the pulse control circuit, to the sampling circuit as the sampling circuit driving signal.
