PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker and a manufacturing method thereof for solving tasks of bad productivity resulting from a need of a long curing time because an adhesive for coupling a suspension holder to a diaphragm is of a drying-by-heating type and of cost increase because of the necessity of a large scale heating and drying facility and a large space, and capable of realizing a high production efficiency and a low cost. SOLUTION: An adhered part 9a and a coupling part 9b are provided in a part of the suspension holder 9 coupled to the diaphragm 7, the adhesive of the drying-by-heating type is applied to the adhered part 9a, the coupling part 9b is coupled to the diaphragm 7 mechanically or by using an adhesive of an instantaneously curing type so that the suspension holder 9 and the diaphragm 7 can momentarily be coupled to each other, resulting in that the drying process for the adhesive of the drying-by-heating type having been conventionally required is not needed and the productivity can remarkably be improved and the production facility and the space can be reduced.
