TONER, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, TWO-COMPONENT DEVELOPER, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce toner of a small particle diameter having sharp grain size distribution without requiring a classifying process, and to provide the toner which can be negatively charged. SOLUTION: A first resin particle dispersion liquid prepared by dispersing resin particles, a colorant particle dispersion liquid prepared by dispersing colorant particles, a wax particle dispersion liquid prepared by dispersing wax, and a second resin (charge controlling agent) containing an acryl-sulfonic acid copolymer having a sulfonic acid polar group are mixed and aggregated in an aqueous medium to obtain a toner mother material. To the toner mother material at least a part of which is melted by heating, inorganic fine powder having 6 nm to 200 nm average particle diameter is added by 1.0 to 6 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the toner mother material.
