<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology enable to more suitably control an internal combustion engine provided with a variable valve system changing lift amount and/or valve timing of an injection valve in an air intake passage, a cylinder injection valve and an intake valve. <P>SOLUTION: As lift amount of the intake valve is reduced by the variable valve system and/or as retard angles of open timing of the intake valve is increased when the open timing of the intake valve is after top dead center in an intake stroke, ratio of fuel injection quantity from the injection valve in the air intake passage to total fuel injection quantity is made low and ratio of fuel injection quantity from the cylinder injection valve to total fuel injection quantity is made high. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
