<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of equalizing response characteristics of spectral instrument for correcting the difference in response characteristics of the spectral instrument caused by difference in response characteristics of a light source, spectroscope, and sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The difference spectrum 16 is obtained by subtracting the spectrum of standard matter measured by a sub-instrument from the spectrum measured by a main instrument. The response characteristics of the sub-instrument is made coincide with that of main instrument by subtracting different spectrum 15 from every measurement sample measured by the sub-instrument. In the instrument composed of the light source, spectroscope, and sensor, the deviation in the light absorbance of the sub-instrument in every wave length from that of the main instrument similarly occurs, The spectrum distortion generated by the difference in response performance of the spectral instruments can be corrected, by subtracting the deviation of the light absorbance in each wave length from the spectrum of each specimen respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
