PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit, filling arbitrary one or a plurality of areas of an image data generated from an original image with a color or a pattern desired by a user, based on information handwritten on the original by the user, or filling the color or the pattern of the area with an added gradation. SOLUTION: It is collated whether image data agree with the correspondent image data exist in the original image. When the image data are decided existent, a filling aspect data corresponding to the corresponding image data, and a program related to the filling processing, are acquired. After an area for performing filling processing is acquired, the filling processing is performed for the area concerned in accordance with the program. Thereafter, the image data, on which the filling processing is performed, are displayed on a display and operation unit.
