A knitting method for tubular knitting fabric, comprising the steps of knitting a pair of right and left leg parts in tubular shapes, connecting these leg parts to each other to form a fourchette, decreasing wales from the fourchette to both front and rear bodies, continuing the formation of wales while further decreasing the wales for only the rear body, forming increased wales on the right and left sides of the rear body to offset a reduction in the number of wales by a decrease in wales so as to orderly arrange the knitted widths of the front and rear bodies, linearly disposing the increased wales, and installing darts on the upper part thereof. Thus, an above-crotch-part can be formed deep while maintaining the knitted width of the rear body waist part without returning knitting.
