PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multibeam exposure head and the like, which dispense with high costs by simplifying manufacture, and which enable a beam pitch to be fine adjusted in a relatively simple manner.
SOLUTION: In a multibeam emitting head, n-lines of optical fiber arrays (n is an integer of at least 1), wherein a plurality of optical fibers are planarly arranged at regular intervals in parallel with one another, are provided in parallel with one another, and a beam-emitting end array of the optical fiber is arranged on one surface along each of the optical fiber arrays. The multibeam emitting head is formed in such a cylindrical shape that (n+1) pieces of components, partitioned by n-pieces of planes along each of the optical fiber arrays, are laminated; one surface is either of cylindrical end surfaces; and all the geometrical centers of beam-emitting ends almost correspond to the geometric center of one surface.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
|
