<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing environments wherein an imaging device can be conveniently used by forming a staple position, a punch position and a lattice for position regulation inside equipment and displaying these on an electronic paper, based on a printing designation from an operating part or an outer I/F processing part, and an imaging device. <P>SOLUTION: In this imaging method, it is confirmed whether source data for printing are available (step S601); in the case the source data are available, a setting for bookbinding process is confirmed (step S602); and in the case staple/punch settings are made, drawing data corresponding to the staple position and the punch position are generated (step S603). Consecutively, the width of the lattice is enlarged/diminished based on copy expansion ratio and Nin 1 and the drawing data are added; although finally, synthetic data for confirmation are displayed (step S604), synthetic data are generated by synthesizing the source data and the drawing data by an OR operation in an image processing part and displayed on the electronic paper through the outer I/F processing part (step S605). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
