<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent anti-surge characteristics from deteriorating due to shift error between a resistor film and both terminal electrodes in a chip resistor where terminal electrodes 2 and 3 are formed at the parts on the upper surface of a chip substrate 1 adjacent to the right and left end faces 1a and 1b thereof, a zigzag resistor film 4 is formed between both terminal electrodes, protrusions 5 and 6 are projected integrally toward the resistor film at the parts of the inner side faces 2a and 3a of both terminal electrodes adjacent to one or the other side face 1c, 1d of the chip substrate, and thin width parts 7 and 8 provided integrally at the opposite ends of the resistor film are connected electrically with the protrusion. <P>SOLUTION: Inward side faces 5b and 6b on the side of the right and left side faces of protrusions 5 and 6 opposite to one or the other side face of a chip substrate are inclining planes where the width dimension at the protrusion becomes narrow at the forward end of the protrusion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
