PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for washing an endoscope permitting sufficient diffusion of a washing solution between the endoscope and the inner surface of an opening recess without dropping from the opening recess by the liquid pressure of the washing solution. SOLUTION: This adapter for the washing is mounted on the opening recess formed in a control part of the endoscope to be used for washing the opening recess and an internal conduit communicating with the opening recess with the washing solution. The adapter comprises a lid part for closing an opening end of the opening recess on the outer side, a loose fit part projecting on the lid part with smaller diameter than the inner diameter of the opening recess to be inserted into the opening recess, and a spiral anti-loosening part around the axial center of the loose fit part, projecting on the outer surface of the loose fit part, for preventing the loose fit part from dropping out of the opening recess by the elastic contact with the inner surface of the opening recess. The spiral anti-loosening part forms a channel from the deep side of the loose fit part to the inner surface of the lid part between the outer surface of the loose fit part and the inner surface of the opening recess.
