<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which has an image forming unit is easy to mount or demount, and easy to position in the device body and is able to reliably transmit drive power to a loaded photoconductor. <P>SOLUTION: This color printer 1 has a mountable or demountable image forming unit 30 to form images. The main section 2 of the color printer 1 is provided with a gear bearing 44; a gear 43 rotatably supported by the gear bearing 44 to receive drive power to the image forming unit 30; a fixing section 44a, fixed and supported by the gear bearing 44 and fitting to the end of the image forming unit 30; a joint 45 positioned between the gear 43 and the image forming unit 30 to turn together with the gear 43; and a spring 46 for energizing the joint 45 in a direction of separating away from the gear 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
