PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device in which degradation in image quality attributable to low-light intensity can be restrained. SOLUTION: The imaging device 80 includes an imaging unit 81 for performing photoelectric conversion, a mixer 82a for mixing electrons corresponding to three pixels 81a transferred from the imaging unit 81, and a gate electrode 70 that has a length b (about 0.5μm) of a transfer direction smaller than length a (about 0.7μm) of the transfer direction of a gate electrode 61 at a subsequent stage and also discharges electrons mixed by the mixer 82a.
