PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood for an IH cooking heater capable of being easily maintained, reducing its equipment cost and preventing dew condensation. SOLUTION: A contaminated air capturing space S is formed by closing an opening part of a thin hood main body 1 opened at its lower face, by a recessed detachable hood cover 4, an incandescent bulb B or an incandescent lamp is mounted on a desired position of the range hood A to directly heat the hood cover 4 to which the steam included in the contaminated air C generated in heating cooking, is attached, and the hood cover 4 is heated and dried by the transmission of heat energy by radiation heat from the incandescent bulb B or the incandescent lamp to prevent dew condensation.
