PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic material which is used for organic electroluminescent elements, can inhibit the mutual coagulation of polymer molecules, and can give high light-emitting efficiency, and to provide the organic electroluminescent element using the same. SOLUTION: The organic material for the organic electroluminescent elements is characterized by comprising conjugated units having a carrier-conveying property or a light-emitting property and branched units each having three or more molecular chains. The organic electroluminescent element comprises a pair of electrodes and a first and a second organic layers disposed between the electrodes. The first and second organic layers are formed as coating layers by coating solutions. The second organic layer is formed on the first organic layer.
