The invention relates to a tilt-turn fitting for windows or doors, with a balancing element, comprising a rotatable pivot-lever mounted on the frame or jamb. On closing the frame the balancing element (1) engages with the upper or lower side of a counter-piece arranged on the frame or jamb and supports the closed or tilted frame thereon. In order to increase the amount of sag of the frame which may be compensated for, a longitudinally extending plunger (5) is arranged in the pivot-lever (2), which interacts with a cam-track (27) at the one end thereof and comprises a contact piece (32) at the other end thereof which co-operates with the counter-piece. |
