<p>The invention relates to a container for conveying and storings lightly and medium active liquid radioactive wastes, produced in the nuclear power plants, meant for keeping them in complete safety, for a period of minimum 60 years. According to the invention, the container comprises a cylindrical shell (1), welded along the generatrix, provided with circular reinforcing ribs (3) and the handling pieces (2) having at the lower part, a bottom (4) welded to the cylindrical shell (1), and at the upper part a cover (7) welded to the cylindrical shell (1), which is provided with two pouring gates (8), emptying (9), respectively, welded to the cover (7). The cover (7) is welded at a distance (a) from the upper edge of the cylindrical shell (1), which is reinforced with a concentric reinforcing ring (16), with the cylindrical shell (1), and positioned therein, to the reinforcing ring (16) there being welded sixteen damping plates (17), with the role of attenuating blows and falls on the cover (7). The bottom (4) is welded at a distance (b) from the the lower edge of the cylindrical shell (1), which is reinforced, with a concentric reinforcing ring (5), with the cylindrical shell (1), and positioned therein the bottom (4) being reinforced with the perpendicular reinforcing ribs (6) , welded thereto. The thickness of the container walls is chosen so that the thickness (c) of the cover (7) and the thickness (f) of the bottom (4) be the double of the thickness (m) of the cylindrical shell (1). The cylindrical shell (1), the bottom (4), the cover (7), the pouring gates (8), the emptying gate (9), respectively, as well as the plug (11) are made of 2 NiCr185 or 2 MoNiCr175 stainless steel.</p> |
