PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel polymer electrolyte in which deterioration of battery performance due to hydrogen fluoride can be prevented surely, and provide a lithium secondary battery in which this gel polymer electrolyte is equipped.

SOLUTION: This is the gel polymer electrolyte in which lithium ions can be conducted, and this is adopted while a matrix polymer formed by polymerizing substrate monomers having either one or both of an acrylate group and a methacrylate group and a reactive monomer having a dioxolane ring and a non-aqueous electrolytic solution are mixed.
