<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an alcohol and/or a ketone from the corresponding alkene in the presence of an oxidation catalyst in a gas phase, by which the objective substance can stably be produced in high selectivity for a long period, while maintaining the activity of the catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the alcohol and/or the ketone comprises carrying out the reaction in the presence of an oxidation catalyst containing the oxides of molybdenum and/or tin by a method for circulating the catalyst between a fluidized bed reactor and a catalyst regenerator, while controlling the amount of the catalyst returned to the reactor/the amount (mass ratio) of the alkene fed into the reactor in specific ranges, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
