PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker improved in safety by preventing overheating of a heated object in the heating cooker provided with a control part for stopping heat sources after the lapse of a set heating time. SOLUTION: An opening/closing part 30 is provided for exposing or covering a time setting part 3. A control part C1 is provided with an execution means for carrying out a safety timer mode for stopping the heat sources 11, 21 after the lapse of the predetermined heating time, and a timer cooking mode for stopping the heat sources 11, 21 after the lapse of a heating time optionally settable by a time setting part 3, and a selecting means for selecting the safety timer mode when the opening/closing part 30 is closed to cover the time setting part 3, while selecting the timer cooking mode when the opening/closing part 30 is opened to expose the time setting part 3.
