<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size gas generator capable of preventing spattering of a cup-like member or broken pieces thereof in spite of gas release in a radial direction of the gas producer. <P>SOLUTION: The gas producer is provided with the cup-like member of a bottomed cylinder shape integrated at a coupling part with an ignition assembly.
