PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmitter, a data receiver, and a data transmission / reception method capable of carrying out view limiting by using an error correction function. SOLUTION: A rearrangement section 21 revises the arrangement of data packets by referencing a database 23. A parity packet generating section 22 generates parity packets including an error correction code to the data packets whose arrangements are revised by the rearrangement section 21. Then a PHY section 3 transmits the data packets whose arrangements are revised by the rearrangement section 21 and the parity packets generated by the parity packet generating section 22. Thus, the arrangements of the data packets cannot be restored unless the receiver side knows the type of the arrangement, so as to obtain a view limiting function and an error correction function.
