摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing such a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet as to stably have excellent magnetic properties and film properties, and to provide a separation agent for annealing used in the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet comprises: hot-rolling a steel slab containing 2.0-4.5 mass% Si to form a hot-rolled plate; annealing the hot-rolled plate, as needed; cold-rolling it once or more times while sandwiching intermediate annealing between the steps; then decarburization-annealing it; applying the separation agent for annealing containing 60 mass% or more MgO; drying it; and finally finish-annealing it. The separation agent for annealing includes a water-soluble compound containing 2.0 to 5.0 mass% of an insoluble matter in such an amount with respect to 100 pts.wt of MgO as to satisfy the following expression: 0.5&le;A/L&le;2, wherein L is an amount (mass%) of the insoluble matter; and A is an added amount (pts.wt) of the water-soluble compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
