PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the operation of electronic equipment and the operation of an accessory when an electronic equipment side connector and an accessory side connector are attached or detached. SOLUTION: When the accessory side connector is rotated in a second direction in disconnecting the electronic equipment side connector and the accessory side connector from each other, identification signal contacts ID1' and ID2' of an accessory side contact 2004 are separated and disconnected from identification signal contacts ID1 and ID2 the earliest of all the electronic equipment side contacts 1004. Since the detection of an identification signal is stopped, the electronic equipment 100 determines that the accessory is not attached, and stops the supply of power to the accessory 200 and the transmission/reception of signals to/from the accessory 200.
