<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for providing a driver, and a program that enable a user to use a device connected to a network without making the user aware of installing a driver in a user terminal. <P>SOLUTION: Driver information including at least the location of the driver is stored in a driver information storage part 21 as a storage area such as a common folder, once an access detection part 22 detects a user PC 4 accessing the driver information storage part 21, a driver acquisition part 23 acquires the driver corresponding to a device 1 based upon the driver information and an installation processing part 24 installs the driver in the user PC 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
