PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing case 1 for a plate-like disc 2 such as a CD capable of easily and safely taking in and out and taking in and out with a less space. SOLUTION: The storing case for storing the plate-like disc such as the CD 2 is provided. It consists of a slide member 11 movable under a condition holding the disc 2 on its upper face and in the disc flat face direction as the inserting-in/drawing-out direction, and a case main body 12 provided with a storing space for storing the slide member 11. In the storing space of the case main body 12, the first pressing member for pressing the slide member 11 in the drawing-out direction, a locking means for temporarily fixing the slide member 11 to the case main body against the first pressing member, and a releasing means 14 for releasing the locking means by an operation from the outside of the case main body.
