PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoulder strap mounting fitting for a satchel capable of completely preventing the satchel from colliding against a user's head and fingers from being caught therein. SOLUTION: The shoulder strap mounting fitting for a satchel is provided with a pair of oscillating arms 12 and 12 pivotally attached to a fitting body 10 by pivots 11 and 11 perpendicular to the back panel 2 of the satchel 1, the fitting body 10 being fixed to the center of the upper portion of the back panel 2, with rings 13 attached to the free ends of the oscillating arms 12 and 12 for attaching the upper ends of shoulder straps 3 thereto. A plurality of flexible wires 21a, 21a, 21a and so forth, made of metal or the like for high strength, are twisted to form a line 21, with the ends of the line 21 interconnected to form a flexible ring 20. The lower portion of the flexible ring is locked within the fitting body 10, with the upper portion of the flexible ring protruding upward of the fitting body 10. |
