PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the tensile strength and shear stiffness of a joint of a segment using an adhesive. SOLUTION: Irregularities 5 are formed on the surface of a rod member 2, and the tensile strength of the joint is increased by enhancing the adhesion of the adhesive 4 to the rod member 2. A mouth 10 with a predetermined length whose internal diameter is smaller than a back-side internal diameter is formed in a hole 3, and the adhesive 4 cannot pass through the mouth 10 after being solidified in a state of being integrated with the rod member 2 along a back-side shape of the hole 3, to enhance the tensile strength of the joint. Furthermore, the formation of the mouth 10 decreases the thickness of the adhesive 4 around the rod member 2 in this part subject to the action of a shearing force, to enhance the shear stiffness of the joint.
