PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the time and labor of designating a next play list a plurality of times, and to reduce the possibility of playing undesired music. SOLUTION: When a user selects play lists #1 and #3 from a list of play lists, "1" is set as weight for the selected play lists #1 and #3, and "0" is set for other play lists #2 and #4. Music registered in the play lists for which "0" is set as weight is not played, and random playing is carried out by targeting the sum of sets of music pieces registered in the play lists #1 and #3 for which "1" is set as weight.
